Bunawan, Agusan del Sur – January 9, 2024
Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) reaffirmed its commitment to workforce stability and institutional excellence by renewing the contracts of its dedicated Job Order Personnel on January 9, 2024.
The contract renewal ceremony, held on campus, was organized by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) and led by no less than College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano. Also in attendance were key members of ASSCAT’s executive leadership team, showing full support for the institution’s hardworking non-permanent personnel.
The renewal process goes beyond paperwork—it symbolizes ASSCAT’s recognition of the vital roles Job Order personnel play in sustaining day-to-day operations across the College. From administrative support to maintenance, their work is a crucial backbone of the institution.
“Our Job Order workers are not just employees—they are partners in delivering our mission. This contract renewal reflects our appreciation for their dedication and their contribution to our goals,” said Dr. Capistrano during her message.
This milestone aligns with ASSCAT’s forward-looking vision of becoming a globally-engaged institution of sustainable agriculture and innovation. With renewed contracts, Job Order personnel expressed their enthusiasm to continue contributing toward ASSCAT’s mission: providing quality education, fostering research excellence, and delivering responsive community service.
By investing in its people, ASSCAT ensures the continuity of its core principles and operational integrity. The ceremony served as both a formal recognition of staff and a motivational start to the year—reinforcing a shared sense of purpose among the ASSCAT community.
