The consultation was conducted in accordance with Article III, Section 5 of CHED Memorandum Order No. 3, Series of 2012, which mandates stakeholder involvement in tuition and school fees deliberations. Present during the event were key members of the college administration, led by College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, alongside Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance Dr. Carmelo S. Llanto, Vice President for Administration, Finance, and Planning Ruth S. Desamparo, and Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Janice S. Dini-ay. Also in attendance were academic deans, faculty members, staff, student leaders from the Supreme Student Government (SSG), alumni representatives, and students.
The primary aim of the consultation was to present the rationale behind the proposed adjustment and to provide a venue for open dialogue. College officials addressed each point raised and elaborated on how the proposed fee structure would support ASSCAT’s development goals, particularly in improving facilities, enhancing academic services, and sustaining quality education.
