On July 1, 2024, the two-day In-House Presentation of MUSEO Tu’ Agusan Research Validation under Culture and Governance commenced at the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) ICT Conference Hall.

 

Dedicated MUSEO researchers showcased their insightful studies, receiving invaluable feedback from a distinguished panel, including respected tribal chieftains. Their comments and suggestions will help shape the future of our research initiatives.

 

Today, July 2, the event features discussions on ‘Conflict Management’ and ‘Customary Laws’ by guest speaker Philip Anthony Ocquiola, NCIP Provincial Officer, and ‘Gender-based Conflict Management in IP Continuity’ by guest speaker Elvira Catuburan, Bae Mahubay.

 

MUSEO Tu’ Agusan is an integral part of the Indigenous Peoples (IP) and internationalization program of the College and one of ASSCAT’s key initiatives. This collaboration and commitment to cultural preservation is significant in honoring and celebrating the rich heritage of Agusan del Sur while contributing to academic excellence.
