𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫—Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, College President, proudly joined the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) delegation at the highly anticipated Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) 2024 event, hosted by J.H. Cerilles State College.

 

The grand opening ceremony, held on November 24, 2024, at the prestigious Blue Oval in the Provincial Sports Complex, Dao, Pagadian City, marked the official launch of an extraordinary week of competitions, camaraderie, and celebration. Bringing together over 30 state tertiary institutions from across Mindanao, MASTS 2024 promises to showcase the best of talent, teamwork, and school pride.

 

Dr. Joy C. Capistrano showed her full support by visiting the ASSCAT delegates’ quarters to boost their morale and cheer them on as they prepared for their events. Her encouraging words and genuine support motivated the team, reminding them of the pride and trust the ASSCAT community has in them. Her visit strengthened their determination to represent the school with excellence and pride.

 

Today, the delegates are set for a thrilling showcase of brilliance and skill, as delegates compete in academic contests, captivate with cultural performances, and give their best in sports tournaments. The energy is electric, and the stakes are higher than ever, with each participant pouring their heart and soul into making their school proud.

 

This year’s MASTS is not just a competition—it’s a celebration of the spirit and shared goals of Mindanao’s state colleges and universities.
