On March 1, 2024, the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) celebrated its 29th Paghimugso – the Charter Day celebration, with a profound sense of gratitude and reflection.

 

Gathered at the ASSCAT Sports and Sociocultural Center, the entire ASSCAT community, including dedicated faculty, staff, enthusiastic students, and cherished alumni, came together to express heartfelt thanks.

 

The day commenced with a meaningful Thanksgiving Mass, followed by a modest program where retirees and stakeholders received well-deserved recognition. CHED Commissioner Marita R. Canapi conveyed a message to the ASSCAT community through College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano.

 

Under the theme “Overcoming Challenges, Intensifying Innovations, Sustaining Success,” this moment of reflection underscores ASSCAT’s significance not just as an institution, but as a testament to the dedication, resilience, and unwavering spirit of its people.
