Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) formally received its newly completed Multi-Purpose Building in a turnover and acceptance ceremony with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). The facility expands ASSCAT’s infrastructure, providing a dedicated space for student engagement and academic activities.
The event’s highlight was the formal handover of the building, marked by the symbolic turnover of keys from DPWH and the contractor to ASSCAT.
Receiving the facility on behalf of the institution were Supervising Administrative Officer Ruth S. Desamparo and OSAS Director Dr. Mary Grace O. Reyes, who underscored how the new space—strategically located near the Office of Student Affairs and Services—will benefit students.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Quality Education (SDG 4) and Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9), this new facility reflects ASSCAT’s dedication to fostering learning, collaboration, and growth.
