SALAMAT KADIYAW HON. ADOLPH EDWARD “EDDIEBONG” PLAZA for authoring House Bill No. 7019 now signed by President Rodrigo Duterte into Republic Act 11856, “An Act Converting the Agusan del Sur State College Of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) in the Municipality of Bunawan, Province of Agusan del Sur into a State University, Integrating therewith the Satellite Campus in the Municipality of Trento, Province of Agusan del Sur, to be known as the Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU), and Appropriating Funds Therefor”.
The House Bill No. 7019 was principally authored by Cong. Plaza together with with Representatives Mark Go, Eric Yap and Joey Sarte Salceda. On July 30, 2021, RA 11856 was signed into law by President Rodrigo Duterte.
The entire ASSCAT Community is deeply grateful to Cong. Eddiebong Plaza, being one of the members of the Governing Board, for paving the way of the attainment of the university status. Through this initiative, more doors of opportunities will open which will create an avenue for the betterment and further developments of our beloved Institution.
