On October 19, 2022, the Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) Inauguration and the Investiture of the 1st University President, Pres. Gregorio Z. Gamboa, Jr. was held at the SNSU Gymnasium, Surigao City. The dynamic CHED Commissioner, Hon. Jo Mark Libre, DPA, together with the members of the Board of Regents (BORs), ceremonially inaugurated the conversion of SSCT to SNSU and officially installed Dr. Gregorio Z. Gamboa, Jr. as the 1st SNSU President.

As SNSU and the 1st SNSU President, Dr. Gamboa, embark on greater responsibilities, the ASSCAT assures the workforce of SNSU of the continued support, friendship, and sympathetic interest of the ASSCAT Community. Being one of the esteemed partners of SNSU, our College President, Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, shared a message of congratulations for the success of SNSU and of Pres. Gamboa. In a video message, she said that,
