Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) begins 2025 with a fresh leadership lineup as Dr. Ferdinand A. Dumalagan and VP Janice S. Dini-ay officially step into their new roles as Vice Presidents.
Dr. Dumalagan now serves as Vice President for Research, Innovation, Development, and Extension Affairs (RIDEA), while VP Dini-ay takes on the position of Vice President for Administration, Finance, and Planning (AFP). Both leaders bring extensive experience, with Dr. Dumalagan previously serving as Innovation Director and VP Dini-ay as Vice President for Student Affairs and Services.
Outgoing leaders, Dr. Fernando L. Marzo Jr. and VP Ruth S. Desamparo, formally handed over their responsibilities in a turnover ceremony held at the Office of the President. Dr. Marzo and VP Desamparo remain key figures in ASSCAT, continuing to serve the institution in strategic roles.

Dr. Carmelo S. Llanto continues as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, ensuring consistency in academic leadership as ASSCAT heads into another year of growth and innovation.
With fresh perspectives from its new leaders and the ongoing support of its seasoned team, ASSCAT is poised to build on its successes and push its mission even further in 2025.
