The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) marked its 30th Paghimugso – Charter Anniversary on March 1, 2025, with a celebration that honored the dedication and service of its faculty and staff.

At the heart of the event was the Madiyaw Awards, an annual recognition of individuals who go beyond their roles in pursuit of excellence. This year, four retirees were also honored for their years of service, while 19 individuals and offices received the Presidentβs Award of Distinction, a recognition introduced by ASSCAT President Joy Capistrano to commend those who consistently set new standards in their fields.

The celebration extended beyond the awards, as the ASSCAT community came together for a meal. Laughter and stories filled the gathering, capped by a raffle draw where winners took home donutsβa lighthearted nod to the joy of the occasion. A ceremonial toast brought the event to a close, marking three decades of growth and a future driven by innovation and shared purpose.

As part of the celebration, employees who attended the event, despite it being a Saturday, were granted official compensation, while qualified plantilla personnel also received a β±3,000 Anniversary Bonus in recognition of their contributions.
