As the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) marks 30 years of growth and impact, today, the community came together in a Thanksgiving Mass at the ASSCAT Sports and Socio-cultural Centerโ€”an opportunity to reflect on the institutionโ€™s journey, express gratitude, and seek guidance for the years ahead. Faculty, staff, alumni, and partners joined in prayer, recognizing the milestones that shaped ASSCAT and the mission that continues to drive it forward.
ย
Following the Mass, ASSCAT held a blessing and offering ceremony for two newly completed facilities:
๐Ÿ“ The Learning Resource Center (Phase 1), serving students from the College of Engineering and Industrial Technology (CEIT) and the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS)
๐Ÿ“ The CEIT Laboratory (Phase 1), designed to enhance hands-on learning and research
ย
These new facilities reinforce ASSCATโ€™s commitment to quality education (SDG 4) and innovation (SDG 9) by providing students with better learning spaces and research opportunities. The institution also contributes to sustainable communities (SDG 11) by enhancing educational infrastructure that benefits both the institution and the wider community.
ย
With faith as its foundation and sustainable progress as its goal, ASSCAT moves forward with a renewed commitment to academic excellence and innovation. As the Paghimugso celebration continues, the institution remains steadfast in its mission to empower students, strengthen communities, and drive meaningful change in the years to come.
