Today, June 18, 2025, the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) held its Baccalaureate Mass, Hooding, and Awarding Ceremony — a solemn and celebratory prelude to the 30th Commencement Exercises.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jose Paul Pueblos, Parish Vicar of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, who offered prayers of thanksgiving and guidance for our soon-to-be graduates as they prepare to embark on a new chapter of their lives.
Led by College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, along with Vice Presidents Dr. Carmelo S. Llanto, Janice S. Dini-ay, and Dr. Ferdinand A. Dumalagan, together with Deans, faculty, and staff — the ceremony recognized the achievements and perseverance of the ASSCAT Class of 2025.
From academic excellence and leadership to special awards and recognitions, today’s rites celebrated students who have gone above and beyond — a moment of pride shared with mentors, families, and the entire ASSCAT community.
As they prepare to take flight beyond the halls of ASSCAT, the Class of 2025 carries with them the college’s Graduate Attributes — to be Sensitive to the environment, Originative and critical thinkers, Active and empowered lifelong learners, and Reflective leaders and ethical professionals.
To the Class of 2025: May you SOAR with purpose, grounded in service and guided by excellence.
