God’ words and prayers were shared among the first batch of Job Order employees of the Municipality of Trento, Agusan del Sur before the culmination of the Competency Enhancement Training on October 14, 2022. The message of total surrender to GOD, confessing all sins such as, pride with true repentance in order to receive GOD’s favor or mercy and blessings was put across by the Spiritual Development Coordinator, Dr. Charlie A. Dayon, of the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology among the 24 participants of the said training. According to him, “one of the reasons why our prayers are unanswered is that we do not confess our sins to Jesus Christ, our GOD and Savior. Citing Isaiah 59:2, he declared: “Our LORD hides His face from us; He does not hear us because of our iniquities which separate us from Him.” Dr. Dayon went on admonishing them to repent of their sins and to ask for GOD’s mercy and pardon, so He would free them from the slavery of sins. Thereafter, he invited them to personally converse with GOD and to surrender unto Him all their iniquities. Finally, he concluded with a solemn prayer beseeching GOD to bless them and grant their heart’s desire attuned to His divine plan and will.
