About ICARI 2025
The International Conference on Agricultural Research and Innovation (ICARI 2025) is hosted by the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur, the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), and Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU). It will be held on November 12–14, 2025 at the Gov. D.O. Plaza Government Center in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, with simultaneous online participation. Carrying the theme “Agricultural Innovation for a Resilient and Sustainable Future,” the conference seeks to highlight research and innovations that address pressing challenges in agriculture and sustainability.
Formally endorsed by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), ICARI 2025 serves as a nationally recognized platform for researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners to present studies, share innovations, and strengthen collaborative networks. More than a conference, it provides a dynamic space where research and practice converge to advance solutions for food security, climate resilience, sustainability, and inclusive growth.
Participants will also have the opportunity to experience Agusan del Sur’s unique learning sites, including the Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, a Ramsar-listed wetland of international importance, and the Agusan del Sur State-of-the-Art Soil Laboratory, a pioneering facility in soil health management and sustainable land use.
ICARI 2025 is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), Climate Action (SDG 13), Life on Land (SDG 15), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). Through these alignments, the conference underscores its commitment to driving actionable knowledge and transformative innovations for resilient and sustainable futures.
