Clear communication is a game-changer, whether speaking on stage or crafting official documents.
Today, administrative staff of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) honed their skills in Effective Event Hosting and Technical Writing during a full-day training at the ICT Function Hall, ASSCAT Main Campus.
Guiding the session was Mr. Eric Jhon E. Auguis, Executive Assistant III / Chief PMS of Bohol Island State University, who shared expert strategies on commanding the stage, engaging audiences, and structuring professional documents for institutional use. Participants explored techniques to captivate listeners, write with clarity, and deliver messages effectively—skills essential in academic and professional settings.
This training directly supports ASSCAT’s commitment to quality education (SDG 4) by strengthening communication in learning and administration. It also contributes to innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9) by improving event execution and documentation. Additionally, it promotes strong institutions (SDG 16) by fostering transparency and professionalism.
The event was also graced by College President Joy C. Capistrano, VP Janice S. Dini-ay, and SAO Ruth S. Desamparo, who emphasized the importance of effective communication in strengthening ASSCAT’s institutional presence.
Looking ahead, ASSCAT is set to cultivate a confident roster of hosts and precise writers—ensuring stronger, more impactful communication across the institution!
