The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) wrapped up the year in style with the 2024 Year-End Assessment and Family Day, where faculty and staff embraced the playful “Rich Tito/Tita Aesthetic.” Dressed to impress, they brought humor, charm, and flair to the lively afternoon session.

 

The event also paid tribute to ASSCAT retirees, celebrating their contributions and dedication to the institution over the years.

 

College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano shared a message filled with gratitude and optimism, reflecting on the year’s milestones and the collective efforts that made them possible. She also spoke about ASSCAT’s many “firsts,” inspiring pride and a sense of shared accomplishment.

 

Faculty and staff had their turn to express gratitude, sharing personal reflections and moments they were thankful for during the year.

 

Adding to the festive mood was Panaghinatagay, where everyone received small tokens of appreciation. The excitement peaked with raffle prizes, fun games, and activities that brought out creativity, laughter, and even a few dance moves.

 

One of the day’s highlights was the Best Dressed competition, where participants showed off their unique takes on the “Rich Tito/Tita Aesthetic.” Special awards were handed out, including picks from the President, Vice Presidents, and retirees.

 

As the celebration wound down, the ASSCAT community left with smiles and renewed energy, ready to take on what the new year has in store. More than just an event, the 2024 Year-End Assessment and Family Day was a reminder of the value of connection, gratitude, and shared joy—marking a meaningful end to the year.
