Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) marked a significant milestone as it officially welcomed newly hired and promoted faculty and staff during the Oath-Taking and Onboarding Program held on March 24, 2025.

 

The day began with the Oath-Taking Ceremony at the Admin Building Lobby, where personnel formally pledged their commitment to the institution’s mission of excellence, service, and integrity. Leading the ceremony were College President Joy C. Capistrano, Vice President for Administration, Finance, and Planning Janice S. Dini-ay, Vice President for Academic Affairs & Quality Assurance Carmelo S. Llanto, and Supervising Administrative Officer Ruth S. Desamparo. Each shared insights on professionalism, responsibility, and the crucial role of educators and staff in shaping the institution’s future.

 

In the afternoon, the onboarding session at the DTC Function Hall provided an in-depth orientation on ASSCAT’s policies, programs, and expectations. It served as a vital platform for new personnel to gain a deeper understanding of their roles and the institution’s goals.

 

This ceremony formally recognized faculty and staff whose appointments and promotions were processed in previous months. Now stepping fully into their roles, they bring fresh energy and expertise to ASSCAT’s growing academic and administrative community.
