Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) continues to strengthen its academic and administrative workforce as newly hired and promoted faculty and staff officially took their oath today, September 8, 2025.

The ceremony began at the Admin Building Lobby, where personnel formally pledged their dedication to ASSCAT’s mission of excellence, service, and integrity. College President Joy C. Capistrano, Vice President for Academic Affairs & Quality Assurance Carmelo S. Llanto, and Supervising Administrative Officer Ruth S. Desamparo led the event and shared messages, each emphasizing the importance of embracing ARISE as the guiding principle of service and leadership within the institution.

Immediately after the ceremony, the onboarding session took place in the ASSCAT Board Room. The activity provided an orientation on the college’s programs, policies, and strategic directions, helping the newly appointed personnel align their responsibilities with ASSCAT’s long-term goals.

This activity also formed part of ASSCAT’s observance of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, highlighting the importance of public servants’ dedication and collective effort in building a more responsive and resilient government workforce.

With their commitment formally sealed, the new members of the ASSCAT community are set to play an important role in advancing the college’s mission of excellence and service.
