Darvs Zape, a talented student of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), has been invited to participate as an artist in the ongoing exhibit “Hád: Butuanong Hinang” at the NMP-Butuan Regional Museum. This invitation is a testament to Darvs’ artistic skill and his growing reputation in the local art scene.
The exhibit, a collaboration between the National Museum of the Philippines-Butuan City, the City Government of Butuan, and the City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, showcases the rich cultural heritage of Butuan through visual arts. The Butuan City Council for Culture, Heritage, and Arts, specifically its Visual Arts Committee, has also played a significant role in organizing this event.
The opening reception took place on October 8, 2024, at the NMP-Butuan Regional Museum, where Darvs’ artwork was displayed alongside other talented local artists. ASSCAT is proud to see its student being recognized and contributing to this celebration of cultural and historical significance.
We extend our support and gratitude to Darvs for representing ASSCAT and showcasing the creativity and talent within our community.
