Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), represented by our Vice President for Research, Innovation, Development and Extension Affairs (VPRIDEA), Dr. Ferdinand L. Dumalagan, attended the Ceremonial Signing of the Partnership Agreement between the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and its project partners for the CY 2025 Massive Coconut Planting Program (MCPP) held at Sequoia Hotel, Mother Ignacia Avenue, Quezon City, on October 22, 2025. 

This significant event marks a collaborative step towards revitalizing the coconut industry by replanting and expanding coconut areas nationwide in line with the national directive to plant 100 million coconut palms by 2028.

ASSCAT remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainable agricultural development and innovation, working hand in hand with government agencies and partner institutions to empower communities and strengthen the country’s coconut sector.
