ASSCAT strengthens delivery of services amidst pandemic thanks to CHED-Funded Project Grants


To aid in strengthening the delivery of services to its clienteles, the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) received various grants from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) that will result to the implementation of projects to help ASSCAT in achieving its vision, mission and goals. For calendar year 2020, ASSCAT was granted the following CHED-Funded Projects:


For calendar year 2020, an accumulated total of ₱66,800,227.00 CHED-funded grants were given to ASSCAT, with that, ASSCAT headed by its College President, Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude for the never-ending support CHED chaired by Chairperson J. Prospero “Popoy” E. De Vera, III has been and will be giving. ASSCAT is also forever grateful to Dr. Perfecto A. Alibin, CHED Commissioner and Chairperson of the ASSCAT Board of Trustees, for his endless support and assistance for the betterment of the College.

The guidelines and restrictions imposed by the government to combat and overcome the challenges brought about by the pandemic may have drastically reshaped our way of life eventually leading us to adopt to a “new normal” way of doing things, but with the continuous help and support of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) among other partner agencies, we are positive that we will overcome this challenging time. After all, we all learn and heal as one.
