Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) has been recognized by GSIS Butuan as one of its Top Performing Agencies for Calendar Year 2024, a testament to the College’s efficient handling of agency accounts and ERF processes in support of its employees’ welfare and benefits.

Representing ASSCAT at the AAO & ERF Handler Refresher and Awarding Ceremony held today, September 19, 2025, at Balanghai Hotel & Convention Center, Butuan City were Supervising Administrative Officer Ruth S. Desamparo, Accountant III Berlito Oliver Jr., and the dedicated staff of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO).

ASSCAT College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano praised the entire college community whose commitment to transparent and responsive public service made this achievement possible. She noted that strong institutional practices not only improve employee support systems but also contribute to the broader community and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

This recognition underscores ASSCAT’s drive to uphold integrity, innovation, and collaboration which directly impact its workforce, students, and stakeholders across Agusan del Sur.
