Behind every successful student stands a teacher who believed in them first. With this spirit, the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) honored its very own mentors in celebration of World Teachers’ Day during the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony today, October 6, 2025.

Students offered tokens of appreciation, filling the campus with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude for the teachers who continue to shape their journeys.

Adding a fun twist is the Best Dressed Faculty Member. Since it’s the first Monday of the month, faculty and staff proudly showcased ASEAN-inspired outfits as part of the Civil Service Commission’s initiative, which perfectly blends culture with the celebration.

ASSCAT President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano closed today’s event by extending her heartfelt appreciation to all teachers, commending their unwavering dedication and invaluable role in shaping the minds and values of every ASSCATian.

This celebration reflects the commitment to fostering quality education and inclusive growth, empowering both educators and learners to continue building a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
