Today, September 5, 2025, the CEIT Building shook with action as faculty, staff, and students of ASSCAT carried out an earthquake drill led by the College DRRM Unit with the support of the Red Cross Youth Volunteers.

At the alarm, participants immediately went “Duck, Cover, and Hold!” before making an orderly evacuation to designated safe zones. Quick response and first aid demonstrations followed, ensuring everyone knows what to do in case of a real quake.

Pursuant to RA 10121, schools are mandated to integrate Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) in their programs. This drill keeps our community alert, prepared, and resilient in the face of disasters.
