The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) successfully held the 149th Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Third Quarter of Calendar Year 2025 on November 25, 2025, at the HEDF Conference Room, CHED Central Office, Quezon City.

The meeting was presided over for the first time by the newly appointed Board Chairperson, Hon. Myrna Q. Mallari.

During the session, Chairperson Mallari administered the oath of office of the newly designated Student Trustee, Hon. Jenny P. Otero, and conveyed the Board’s appreciation to Hon. Johanter H. Helarion, outgoing Student Trustee, for his dedicated service. Hon. Otero will serve from November 25, 2025, to November 24, 2026.

The Board acted on key matters concerning finance, administration, academics, policy, and institutional governance. 

Major approvals included:

• Initiation of early procurement activities

• Appointments of teaching and non-teaching personnel

• Various MOAs/MOUs

• The institutional Manual of Operations

The 150th Regular Meeting of the Board for the Fourth Quarter is tentatively scheduled for the second or third week of December.
