As a founding member of the global Open Government Partnership (OGP), the Philippines promotes open, inclusive governance aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals such as SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), and SDG 4 (Quality Education). For ASSCAT and other SUCs, OGP offers opportunities to contribute to policy, enhance civic participation, access government data for research, and collaborate for responsive governance.
Through active participation, ASSCAT affirms its commitment to empower communities and uphold democratic values in line with sustainable development.
