𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝟗𝟎.𝟖𝟓% 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) ROTC unit has achieved a notable 90.85% rating in the 2024 Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI). The inspection took place on May 11, 2024, at the ASSCAT Main Campus, reflecting a significant improvement from the previous year’s rating of 86.86%.
 
The RAATI is a crucial event for ROTC units across the region, designed to assess their administrative efficiency, tactical skills, and overall readiness. The improved rating is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the ASSCAT ROTC cadets and staff. This year’s inspection was attended by distinguished military dignitaries, including LTC ALEX S ELNAR (INF) PA, Deputy, G8, 4ID, PA, and MAJ ALDRIN A SEDURIFA (INF) PA, Chief DRO, 4ID, PA, who oversaw the evaluation process. They were joined by MSg Orlando D Angwas (INF) PA, TSg Froilan G Belocon (SC) PA, TSg Albert M Cecilio (INF) PA, Sgt Julie G Bacaling (AGS) PA, Sgt Mark Anthony C Ayalin (MS) PA, Sgt Joe-Gil Cabillo (INF) PA, Sgt Elmuel V Limpasan (OS) PA, Cpl Edmar S Montano (INF) PA, and PFC Mark Angelo R Gomez (INF) PA.
 
Sgt. Carmelo S Llanto PA (Res), ASSCAT Vice President for Quality Assurance and Academic Affairs, welcomed the evaluators and delivered an inspiring welcome message, emphasizing the importance of the ROTC program in developing disciplined and capable future leaders.
 
Under the leadership of MAJ DODGE IAN O ARANGO (MI) PA, the ASSCAT ROTC unit alongside Sgt Nancy P Jacosalem PA (Res) has focused on enhancing their training programs and administrative procedures, leading to the marked improvement in their RAATI rating.
 
The impressive performance of the ASSCAT ROTC unit not only brings pride to the institution but also sets a benchmark for other ROTC units in the region. The rigorous preparation and execution of their duties during the inspection have demonstrated their readiness and capability to meet the high standards expected by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
 
This milestone is expected to inspire and motivate the cadets and staff to continue striving for excellence in their military and academic endeavors, ensuring that the ASSCAT ROTC unit remains a leading example in the region.
