The Gender and Development (GAD) spearheaded the launching of ‘Gulayan Ngani Likod – An ASSCAT Communal Garden’ through a planting activity at the back area of the GAD Center Building. The College President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano together with her Vice Presidents Dr. Belen S. dela Peña, Dr. Alvin O. Cayogyog and Mr. Glene A. Nalla actively participated in the activity. The men and women employees joyously planted vegetables which they hope to harvest after a few months. College of Agriculture Faculties Dr. Shiela G. Reyes, Dr. Belen S. Dela Peña and Professor Cherry J. Amador also imparted their knowledge and skills in gardening by teaching and guiding the participants on the proper way of planting and caring for the plants.
